Sodium Bicarbonate is one of our key ingredients for making Bath Blasters. A very fine, white powder which combined with Citric Acid makes the fizz when the blaster enters the bath water and helps bind other ingredients in a blaster.
Sodium bicarbonate, also commonly known as baking soda, is soluble and is a leavening agent which helps to soften bath water. When combined with citric acid and hot water it will create lots of bubbles – say hello to the fizz of our bath blasters!
