Let's be honest, Netflix and chill is such an overused term! In fact, I think it needs updating!
It's been a long day and sometimes when you get home, all you want to do is watch Netflix and literally chill. And when I say chill, I mean
fricking chill in my pyjamas with my fluffy cat.
I'll openly admit, once I've started something on Netflix - I will binge watch it. You name it and I've watched it, because the problem is I will watch one episode after the other!
I know, I know... I need to get out there more! There is more to the world than Netflix... but is there really more to the world than
Stranger Things? Is there?
If there was a Netflix Club where you could debate about shows/programmes on Netflix... Wait perhaps I should start that?!
Anyway, until this Netflix Club takes off the ground (
any joiners?!) this is where I put my Netflix addiction to good use. Because I've got 3 hella good recommendations for you!
Stranger Things
Stranger Things is a science fiction-horror web television series - that's a mouthful.
A young boy called Will goes missing, and his mum launches a investigation into his disappearance. As they all search for answers, they stumble across extraordinary mysteries like secret government experiments, supernatural forces, and a very strange little girl called Eleven.
Watch this quick! Season 2 comes out this October!
American Horror Story (Y
ou can watch this wherever, but I watched it on Netflix so it still counts!)
American Horror Story was created by the co-creators of Glee, but don't let this fool you!
In the wise words of Netflix: This twisted Emmy-winning drama plays upon the power of supernatural fears and everyday horrors, exploring humankind's unsettling capacity for evil.
Couldn't of said it better myself.
Despite being scared, I couldn't but help watch episode after episode, series after series. It's scarily addictive.
*WARNING!* Do not watch if you are: easily scared, don't like blood/guts/clowns/anything gruesome or horror related. Basically - not for the lighthearted... but still try and watch it anyway!
Orange Is The New Black
Piper Kerman is an American memoirist convicted of felony money-laundering charges. Piper's memoir Orange Is The New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison highlights her experiences in prison, and was eventually adapted into the Netflix original comedy-drama series Orange Is The New Black.
It's become Netflix's most-watched original series - and in a weird way... it makes me want to go to prison... sort of.
I guarantee, you'll laugh and you will 100% cry - who needs a relationship when you've got this show!
There you have it ma darlings! If I'm not raving like a proud mother about
Bomb Cosmetics products, then chances are I'm lost in the world of Netflix.
My point to all of this being - lets scrap Netflix and Chill. From now on, I'm thinking...
Netflix and Bomb Cosmetics.
Don't even get me started on Amazon Prime!
Stranger Things vs Fear the Walking Dead?
